ArcadeScript has a lot going for it. The website gives a great impression, the pricing is solid, installation service is cheap, and heaps of free games. It lacks the features of more “up to date” scripts, but its still definately worth consideration.
First Impressions
ArcadeScript.com is another true heavyweight in the arena. Their main website is extremely well designed and intuitive. Its certainly one of the more popular scripts on the market, with quality features, such as forum integration and high scores, solid tiered pricing structure, and support options its not hard to see why.
Demo
A demo was available and boy the front demo looked nice. They really have gone to some trouble to show a nice looking demo for a change. I think its the best ive seen. The default script comes with 9 color combinations which is a really nice touch. The admin area is also unusual in terms of layout, gone are the sidebars, in come the icons. The admin area didnt team as detached, like it was part of the same basic template. Overall very impressive.
Features
A good feature set in many ways, missing multi-lingual functionality, mochiads, traffic trading system? but aside from that no real complaints. They list the features like a sitemap and while that might have been a convenience in terms of site design, im not sure it reads terribly well. If you look closely though youll find most of the key features youll find elsewhere.
Quality
Looks to be very high on initial inspection. The script is, at the time of writing, version 1.2, with the last major update earlier in the year.
Pricing
There are 3 differant pricing options on offer.
Basic Package - $49.99 - 1 license, copyright removal, 300 free games
Standard Package -$99.99 - ” with 1400 games
Super Package - $129.99 - ” with 3800 games!
The basic package is ok value, and from there it gets a little price in todays market. Still if you can afford it, the 3800 games option is the motherload lol.
Support
Its difficult to get a gauge for the support because I suspect its all hidden behind a member login system. I would imagine forums and email at the very least. It also seems like its free, which is what we want to here.
Gamepacks
You certainly get plenty of free games in the standard and super packages, but there is no mention of those gamepacks being sold seperately.
Copyright
The purchase of any package gives you one site licence and the option to remove the copyright code in the footer if you choose to do so.
Installation
Available for $20, which is fantastic value, and what I really like is that its an option attached to all packages in the order screen. That makes it very easy, and its something all sites should consider doing.
Other Details
At the time of writing an offer was available to nab the script for free if you signed up with Lunarpages webhosting, a nice bit of cross marketing there 
Overall
A very high quality script, with an excellent frontend, and admin area. A good number of free games available for the standard and super packs, although the prices are a little high. Its good to see installation offered upfront, rather than as an after thought.
