AV Arcade is a very nice script. Its a constant work in progress. It is missing features that some people would insist upon, but hey, if you want a basic and generally good script, then AV is well worth a look.
First Impressions
AV Arcade is known as one of the premier free arcades script distributions. You’ll often see it listed as an alternative when people are looking for free scripts. The AV Scripts site is pretty basic and straight forward, all the features are listed on the right hand side, and a downloads and gamepacks section on the top. The script is a very mature product these days, where up to version 3.1.4 now and work is being carried out on the v4.0 line. This is definately a script undergoing serious improvements so there is plenty to look forward too.
Demo
A demo is available for the front end and it links to FireFreak.net. The site sports the same template as the main av scripts website basically. It does take a while to load and it isnt particularly flash, but this is a free script we are talking about, id rather they devote their time to coding then making nice demo templates. Unfortunately no admin demo was available and that is a bit of problem. You could download and run on a dummy domain or localhost to check it out, but it would be nice to see it on the website.
Features
Template support, 5 star ratings, rankings and all the other familiar features youve seen many times are present with AV Arcade. It seems to missing newsletters, link exchange? and a few other features some many consider important. V4 promises a lot enhancements, we shall see.
Quality
Generally pretty good for a free script from what ive been told.

Support
Support is primarily through forums. I couldnt see a ticket system in place, or a listing of emails, but then I wouldnt expect it with a free product. You have to be prepared to get your hands a little dirty

3200 Games - $30 - That is awesome value!!!
Copyright
Copyright removal costs $10 and is well and trully worth it.
Installation
Available for $15 with the 1200 game pack and $20 with the 3200 game pack, either way is great pricing.

Nothing to report at this time.
Overall
A high quality free arcade script definately worth checking out. Might not have all the extras of the big 3 or 4 scripts but it would be great if you just want put up a free site, add a few games now and then and get a trickle of adsense coming in.
Further Experience
Ill be installing the script soon and can provide further comment when ive had a play with it.
The game packs are now cheaper than the price listed here.
Version 4.0 is now out, i believe you should do a new review as there are so many changes
The whole thing here is now really out dated, maby an update would be nice at some point.
